CASH ONLY.   Menu:  Food will be served from 6:00-9:00 Artisanal Cheese Platter – A selection of domestic and imported cheeses served with fresh fruit, Marcona almonds, and sliced hearth-baked bread. Bruschetta of Fresh Tomato, Basil and Garlic Mediterranean Platter – House made hummus, couscous, arugula pesto, imported olives and grilled pita bread. Southwest Chicken Tostadas Gulf-Coast Mini Crab Cakes with Roasted Red Pepper Aioli Mini Beef Wellingtons Texas “Truffled” Portobello Pizza – Texas Cheesemakers mozzarella, Kitchen Pride portobellos, white truffle oil d’Alba, and Fleur de Sel. Margherita Pizza – Citrus infused extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, Roma tomatoes, Texas “Ovoline” fresh Mozzarella and sea salt. Chef’s choice for Dessert Drinks: You will receive two drink tickets when you check in (along with your name tags); they are redeemable for your choice of Red wine, White wine, a variety of beers and beverages. After that, it is a CASH bar. Suggestion, if you are going to have a beverage just pay for it ($1.50) and give your drink ticket to a friend, it is worth much more. Parking: There is parking in the strip center where The Tasting Room is located. Do not park in any space marked “Reserved”. They also have complimentary valet, street parking and parking in the garage behind the strip center (second floor and up).  Band: There will be a band playing that night, time and name will be announced later. Photographer: Our professional photographer will be there from 6:00-10:00pm. She will be shooting candid shots and the class photos. If you would like a nice photo of you and your significant other, just let her know. I suggest, you do so early in the evening, before you hair falls (Ladies), you spill something on your shirt (Guys) or before you have too many cocktails and your eyes get squinty.  A CD of ALL the photos that she takes will be on sale that evening for $20, check or cash. To be mailed to you 3-4 wks after the reunion. Slide show: If anyone would like to gather photos for a slideshow (from both classes) please volunteer. We have access to a Plasma TV in the wine cellar where the food and memorabilia will be. It is perfect place for a slide show. Memorabilia: Hastings: I will be bringing our class photos (both Hastings and Elsik) from our ten year reunion in Galveston. I have an eighth grade panoramic picture from Olle. Also, I have the yearbooks from our sophomore, junior and senior years. If anyone has any other memorabilia they would like to share please feel free to bring it. Please make sure your name is on it and that you take it home. Elsik: I only have your ten year reunion class photo; please bring old photos, newsletters, yearbooks etc. for your memorabilia table. Thanks. Accommodations: For those who are attending the Elsik Reunion and coming from out of town. there are a block of rooms reserved at the Crown Plaza, Houston River Oaks, 2712 SW Frwy. A non-smoking King size bed room @ 99. + tax on Oct 3rd.
